IDENTIFICATION
CLIMBers Club is for children in Grades 3-5.
Everyone is welcome in the club, but if your child shows 18 or more of the characteristics in the checklist below, we highly encourage them to be part of CLIMBers.
___Reads and comprehends books easily (higher than grade level)
___Discusses abstract concepts (hope, justice, emotions, etc.)
___Communicates in adult language and on adult topics like art and literature
___Has sensory sensitivities (clothing seams or tags, loud noises, etc.)
___Is overly concerned with fairness
___Is able to grasp math concepts easily (higher than grade level)
___Is perfectionistic
___Is inquisitive
___Has 1 or 2 particular, all-encompassing interests
___Is analytical
___Enjoys fantasy
___Sees connections between information easily
___Can compare and contrast information in interesting ways
___Focuses intently on interesting tasks
___Is overly concerned for others’ plights and trials, including animals
___Wants to understand how and why things work a certain way
___Is observant
___Is quick both in thought and action
___Is overly emotional
___Has multiple and varied interests
___Has a high energy level
